Day 17 of #66DaysOfDataChallenge

It’s been getting colder by the day here in Hyderabad, India. I am aware of the climate crisis and am trying my best to shift to a sustainable and minimalist lifestyle. But that does not help me with an exception when it comes to being sick. Actually. Have been suffering from a running nose and a sore throat since morning.

If something like this were to happen earlier, I would rush to conclude that the Universe is conspiring against me and drop whatever I am supposed to do. But this time around, I tried something weird which not just made me happy but had me sticking to the challenge.

Day 17 — Thursday, 20012022

Since I was not in a position to work on something, I decided to spend time watching something. I am a serial binge watcher and can watch shows continuously for straight 24 hours without a break. Not exaggerating. But today, I tried to use this skill of mine and managed to watch one of the videos put up by #AlexTheAnalyst where he talks about his journey from a Therapist to a Data Analyst to a Data Analytics Manager.

It did help me to stay focused as I made notes during watching the video and I didn’t have to skip a day of the challenge.

I guess at times it is alright to focus on how not to stop rather how to keep going on with something.
